Our family has been LIVING OFF GRID in the UK for OVER FIVE YEARS.
In this video we share WHY we chose to go off grid, and what living off grid was like for us in the early days.
As part of our off grid life we:
Have a DIY off grid solar power system which produces the vast majority of our electricity. (We have a back up generator for those grey weeks!)
Collect and filter rain water.
Grow an increasing amount of our food in a polytunnel which we built earlier this year.
