The Road Not Taken

Geo Politics

Robert Frost’s famous poem, “The Road Not Taken”, ought to be the subject of discussion by U.S. and NATO officials, before they continue their reckless, mindless march down a pathway of civilizational destruction. Are they even capable of self-reflection? Diplomacy by Russia, China and leading nations of the Global South point to a peaceful resolution of conflict and crises, activated now especially in west Asia, of cooperation between former “enemies”, to overcome an enmity stoked by imperial geopoliticians. Solutions exist not in the realm of geopolitics, but in the higher realm of poetry.
