Ukraine’s air defence claims to have shot down all 39 Russian drones launched by Russian on January 2. Two Orlan-10 drones as well as an X-59 guided missile were reportedly also downed over the same period. The Russian defence ministry said that 63 Russian troops were killed in a Ukrainian strike on Makiivka in the eastern region of Donetsk. Russian media reported that Ukraine launched the deadly strike after tracking mobile phone signals.
