Top Military News

Japan is looking to enhance its missile arsenal with three interchangeable warheads amid China’s growing fighter fleet. The move is also seen as an attempt to overcome the country’s current airpower limitations. The missile will be created for reconnaissance and radar jamming (EW) in addition to conventional use. Japan plans to deploy 1,000 upgraded cruise missiles by 2026 to improve its counter strike capabilities against China. Japan is surrounded by hostile neighbours, China and North Korea, that can emerge as a big threat to Tokyo. Will the new upgraded missile help Japan cover up for its airpower deficiencies?
