It’s been 18 months since the COVID-19 pandemic began and six months since vaccines became available to the general public, yet only around 79 per cent of Canadians aged 12 and older are fully vaccinated. According to a Leger, many people feel Canadians who are not immunized are irresponsible and selfish. Global’s Sharmeen Somani tells us why negativity towards unvaccinated Canadians is growing as we get closer to hitting the two year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic.
