North China’s Tianjin municipality has put into operation the world’s largest single-unit power station, the Huadian Tianjin Haijing photovoltaic power station. Covering an area of almost 10,000 hectares, it combines photovoltaic power generation, salt production and aquaculture. The project will improve regional power supply and bolster compound industry exploration.
