Australia’s ‘first ever’ national statement on Climate Change and agriculture released

Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Minister Murray Watt says he is “very proud” to be able to release Australia’s “first ever” national statement on climate change and agriculture. “Farmers are at the coal face when it comes to climate change, we’ve seen the extreme weather that is happened to pretty much every state around the country just in the last couple of years,” Mr Watt said. “Farmers more often than not bear the brunt of that extreme weather.
