Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country’s forces downed more than 80 Iranian-built drones in two days. Zelensky also said that Russia is planning to a prolonged campaign of attacks with Iranian drones to exhaust Ukraine. Ukraine Army Chief Gen. Valery Zaluzhny claims that 40% of the territories occupied after Feb. 24 were liberated in 2022. The Ukrainian military claims that Russia fired 224 times in the Bakhmut direction over the past day. Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the Russian region came under fire on Jan 2. Former NATO General Hans-Lothar Domrose has said that Russia’s invasion in Ukraine will reach a ceasefire in 2023. An agent for the Danish Defence Intelligence Service claims that Vladimir Putin is not terminally ill.
